Chris Breen

Creative Director

As Creative Director, Chris oversees all creative work for breensmith clients. He spent several years as a highly sought-after creative for global agencies like Grey NY and JWT. Chris spent the better part of a decade honing his skills full-time at shops like CP+B.

Chris has sat on the board of The Creative Circus. His work has won virtually every creative award, including One Show, Communication Arts, and Graphis.

Tim Smith


Tim manages the operation of breensmith. He created the talking M&M’s campaign while at BBDO NY. One of the most iconic TV campaigns of all time, it is still going strong today.

Over the years, Tim has helped guide creative at agencies like 22squared and DDB Chicago.
He has multiple Super Bowl spots to his credit. The Clio Awards and One Show have honored his work for Budweiser, McDonald’s and MasterCard among others.

Matt Hayes

Director of Client Services

Matt began his career as an account executive in national advertising agencies, including Zimmerman and Partners. Prior to joining breensmith, he spent a decade at The Weather
Channel as Vice President of Sales Strategy & Marketing, helping the brand evolve from a cable network into a truly integrated platform.
